Selah The Corner Drops Video for “Uriah States of America” feat. Norman Michael

I love hard-hitting songs like “Cliche“, but my appreciation of Selah The Corner has always been for introverted lyrics chalk full of wordplay, and his incredible ability for storytelling. That being said, a song like “Uriah States of America” fit that bill perfectly, and Norman Michael of I’m Doin’ Jesus is officially the man to see if you want to take a song to another level.

In case you’ve been completely asleep, Selah’s new album is easily a top five of the year so far for CHH. In the documentary he shot, he talked about the difficulty of going from making mixtapes to digging into the effort required to bring an album to life from scratch. It’s safe to say he accomplished his goal…at least my well-trained ears are more than satisfied.

Find the album now on iTunes, Google Play, or Spotify.
