Video: Farrakhan Says Kanye Was Right About the 13th Amendment

“Kanye was right.” -Louis Farrakhan

In the midst of all the criticism Kanye West has received for his support of Donald Trump and more recently, his visit to the White House, Farrakhan recently voiced his support and defense of Kanye and credited him with taking over the Oval Office.

“Kanye was right,” Farrakhan said to an audience of Detroit recently. “Kanye talked about the 13th amendment and he was telling Mr. Trump that you don’t build something that’s supposed to be firm and have a trap door in it unless you building a trap door for somebody you want to trap.”

Conventional understanding of the 13th amendment by historians is that it abolished slavery. Kanye West and Louis Farrakhan take issue with the clause in the amendment that allows for “involuntary servitude…as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted.” WATCH FARRAKHAN DEFEND KANYE WEST IN THE VIDEO BELOW.
